Founded in 2009, the Philadelphia Independence is a professional women’s soccer team and the eighth team to join the Women’s Professional League (WPL). The Independence will begin league play in 2010. YSA is a member of the Club Affiliate Program and is in discussion with the Independence regarding other mutually beneficial opportunities such as camps , clinics, player appearances, etc.
