With Futsal, the emphasis is clearly on control and technique.  If you have ever watched Futsal players fight to keep the ball from crossing the touch line you will immediately begin to understand and see how Futsal develops close ball skills, control, and technique. Players must learn to settle the ball rapidly, shield effectively and pass quickly by using all surfaces of the foot.

Futsal places a greater premium on ball control and close ball skills. There is no reward for wayward passes,  errant shots  or  'kick and run' play because the field is too small and packed with players.  Players with the ball must use proper technique to maintain control and must seek out other players in space. Players without the ball must move to 'real' space and must truly support their teammates.ck on the links below for more information and video clips of the game osal




Combined U11/U12 League & U13/U14 League at Marlton Blue Barn


League Starts: Sunday, December 18th

League Play: 9 weeks

Dates: 12/18,

            1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29,

            2/5, 12/12, 12/19, Play-offs: 2/26

Game times: 10am - 4pm             Team Fees: $650 per team

U11-U14 League will run with a one (1) man referee system - Ref fees included in team fee of $650


Tri-State Futsal Offers;

  • FREE Pre-Season Futsal clinic on December 11 at the Marlton Blue Barn
  • 45 minute games; two (2) twenty (20) minute halves plus three (3) minute warmup and two (2) minute halftime     
  • 5 V 5 format
  • Max. Roster size 12 players
  • Guaranteed 9 games, includes playoff game
